Erica

Hello! I'm Erica Elkins. I'm a Registered Nurse and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. I've been assisting moms and babies to feed in postpartum/ pediatric nursing since 2012 and became an IBCLC in 2019.

My professional experience includes working with babies hours old to weaning.

My husband, Josh, and I have been married since 2014 and have two beautiful children- Parker & Mack.

My breastfeeding struggles lead to an exclusive pumping journey with my first child. My second baby had a posterior tongue tie, that required a release, to be able to breastfeed.

I am based in Danville and offer in-home consults to the North Alabama area. Virtual consults are available regardless of your location.

Erica provides in-home services to:

Morgan County

Lawrence County

& surrounding areas

If you aren't sure if you're included in my service area, or are needing assistance outside of my service area, contact me below! We can discuss this further or I'm happy to try to find someone in your area.

Kari

Hey there, I'm Kari Eaton, a Registered Nurse and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. My passion lies in maternal and infant health, specifically guiding families through their breastfeeding journeys. Since 2018, I've been privileged to walk alongside countless families, helping them navigate and celebrate their unique paths to breastfeeding success.

Married to my husband Tyler since 2015, we've been blessed with three precious children who have truly enriched my understanding and dedication to supporting mothers like you. Each of their breastfeeding experiences, along with my professional journey as an IBCLC, has shaped my commitment to providing compassionate care and advocacy for maternal and infant health.

I'm thrilled to be here to support you every step of the way—whether you're expecting, navigating the early postpartum weeks, or seeking guidance at any stage of breastfeeding. Laci

Hi, I'm Laci Russ. I am a Registered Nurse (2013) and Board Certified Lactation Consultant (2018). I have over 10 years of experience with assisting mothers with their feeding goals and am a huge advocate for maternal mental health. Motherhood is my thing.

I am happily married and we have 3 beautiful boys. My passion for what I do originated during my own journey.

My introduction into motherhood came with many challenges; I battled postpartum anxiety and after attempting to breastfeed for a few weeks, ended up formula feeding. The second and third go around brought similar issues along with new ones, but we persisted and were able to exclusively breastfeed.

My personal and professional experience has shaped me into the Lactation Consultant that I am today. I am dedicated to meeting you where you are and helping you reach your goals. You don't have to figure this all out by yourself; I can offer you a safe space, support and guidance.

Testimonials

"This was the best money I spent postpartum. 100% worth every penny. Erica was the most reachable, and helpful resource I had postpartum. I had a lot of issues with oversupply and mastitis, and wanted to breastfeed over pump but had a lot of challenges, and she was able to provide me videos, information, and most importantly- emotional support- throughout that really difficult time in my life. She helped me be able to get to the point where I could do both. Every woman needs a lactation consultant , and Erica’s an affordable and high quality option."
